After seven years in a traditional Gurukulam, Vaidyan C.N. Namboothiri founded Dhanwanthari Vaidyasala at just 23. It became the first Ayurvedic firm from South India to reach the Delhi market, and by the 1950s served Madras, Bangalore, Coimbatore, Salem and Erode.
